When you accept your self the way you-are, the world recognizes you.

Everyone in this world can aim high and taste success no matter what happens. Let me explain it with an example… A real-time example.

THE LIFE STORY OF MUNIBA MAZARI

Muniba Mazari, a Pakistani artist, and activist have literally lived life in two extreme halves. In the first part, she married at the age of 18 for her “father’s happiness” and sustained an unhappy marriage for two years. Later, she met with a terrible car accident that crushed her backbone and she sustained multiple fractures to her arm, shoulder, ribs, and collarbone.

Doctors told her that she would be unable to walk, paint, or give birth; this left her devastated and questioning her existence in the world. “That day I decided that I’m going to live life for myself. I am not going to be that perfect person for someone. I am just going to take this moment and I will make it perfect for myself, that I’m going to fight my fears. You know, when you end up being in a wheelchair, what’s the most painful thing? People think that they will not be accepted by the people because we in the world perfect people are imperfects. So I decided to appear more in public,” she said.

You’re the hero of your own-life story; and Heroes never give-up.

Currently, she is running her brand by the name ‘Muniba’s Canvas’ with the slogan ‘Let Your Walls Wear Colors’. She is a mixed media artist and believes in depicting the ethnic jewels of her region in an abstract way. She has the honor of being the first anchor who is in a wheelchair. She has also left her imprint in the field of modeling as the first wheelchair-bound model of Pakistan.

The United Nations Entity for Empowerment of Women and Gender Equality has named Muniba Mazari as Pakistan’s first female Goodwill Ambassador to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women. She has always spread awareness about child violence, gender discrimination, etc. She has always worked for children’s rights and education and guided people against child abuse. Muniba Mazari got featured in BBC 100 Women List for 2015.

She didn’t let her sadness swallow her, rather stood up, dusted off, and went straight into her life. So, stop worrying about whatever took forth. Focus on the present, set goals, dream big, achieve even though it takes you anywhere.

Embrace what transforms you

“I have learned that accidents can happen. Accidents will happen. But, those accidents are so powerful and strong that they change your DNA. Accidents that may somehow deform your body but they transform your soul are not just accidents. They are blessings in disguise. Because they transform you into the best version of yourself. So, embrace those accidents.

Life is unpredictable

“In these 12 years, I have learned that life is so unpredictable. Life is full of unwanted, unexpected series of events. How in the blink of an eye everything changed. How in the blink of an eye my life changed. And, how in the blink of an eye I changed. I learned that, with all these changes, you become a better person every single day. What life did to me does not define me. But what I became in return, regardless of all the hurt, turmoil and adversity, defines who I am. Today, with a heart full of contentment, I am blessed to be where I am,” quotes Muniba Mazari.

Giving up is not an option

“We live in a world where you will be questioned for being nice and kind. But they will never judge you or question you for being cruel. Don’t let these people teach you to hate. Be kind anyway. Work on yourselves and try to be a better person every single day. These 12 years could not tell me how my story will end. I don’t know how my story will end. Maybe, some stories just never end. But, no one in my text you will ever read that I gave up

Live the life you are having because, once it’s gone, no one can give us back.
